Yerevan hosted a conference on the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

“Armenian authorities are determined to conduct the most free and transparent elections in the modern history of Armenia,” RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said at the opening of the conference.

In his speech the PM underscored the importance of holding adequate elections in the country, noting existence of all prerequisites for that.

General prosecutor of Armenia Aghvan Hovsepyan, head of RA Central Election Commission of Armenia Tigran Mukuchyan, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern also attended the conference.

The conference was organized by RA Prosecutor General's Office, through support of U.S. embassy in Armenia.
