On March 29, Bishop Raphael Minassian the Armenian Catholic Prelate for Armenia and the Caucasus met with His Holiness Aram I in the presence of Archbishop Nareg Alemezian, Director of Ecumenical Relations of the Catholicosate of Cilicia.

The Bishop informed His Holiness of their activities in those regions. After hearing of their pastoral and humanitarian work, Catholicos Aram I expressed his appreciation of the collaboration between the Armenian Catholic Church, and the Catholicosate of All Armenians, and emphasized the importance of safeguarding national unity irrespective of doctrinal differences between the two churches.
