Q1 2012 adds AMD 177 billion to Armenia’s state budget

Opening the session of the Armenian government on April 5, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said they managed to fully implement the state budget for the first quarter of 2012.

“We even exceeded the envisaged program for the first three months, collecting tax and customs fees, as well as mandatory social payments worth AMD 177 billion,” he pointed out.

According to Sargsyan, this figure beats that of 2011 by AMD 7.5 billion.

In addition, the Prime Minister instructed all state departments to prepare expenditure programs for the coming three years for discussion.
