Diaspora Summer School to conduct classes in 5 areas of study

“Diaspora Summer School”, “Sixth Pan-Armenian Writers' Conference”, support program for solving educational and cultural issues of the Armenian communities in Southern (Latin) America and other issues were on Armenian Diaspora Ministry’s regular meeting agenda.

Head of the Department of All-Armenian Programs at the Ministry of Diaspora Atom Mkhitaryan presented the Diaspora Summer School program at the meeting, RA Diaspora Ministry’s press service told PanARMENIAN.Net.

Establishment of the school is one of the priority areas of the Armenian government for 2012. The classes will be conducted in 5 directions: Armenian language intensive classes, training of national dance choreographers, education center directors and teaching staff, school for young leaders, as well as training of Diaspora journalists. The school will operate from June 25-August 15.

From April 18-23, the Sixth Pan-Armenian Writers' Conference will bring together 72 writers; 40 from Diaspora, 20 from Armenia and 10 from Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
