Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn resigns

Best Buy has announced that its CEO Brian Dunn has resigned, Digital Trends reported.

In a surprising move on April10, Best Buy has released a statement saying that Brian Dunn has resigned as CEO of the struggling electronics retailer.

This move comes just a few weeks after Best Buy announced big losses for the past few months and plans to close 50 stores in the United States.

According to the press release, there were “no disagreements between Mr. Dunn and the company on any matter relating to operations, financial controls, policies, or procedures.”

Yet without any disagreements, it was still a “mutual” decision that the company decided to move on. Director G Mike Mikan has been named interim CEO while the company looks for a new leader.
