Chairwoman of the Armenian National Assembly Commission for Science, Education, Culture and Youth Hranoush Hakobian was elected a member of the Coordinating Council for the Women's Issues of the Interparliamentary Union (IPU). As reported by the press service of the RA NA, H. Hakobian was elected to the Council during the 110-th IPU Assembly held April 18-23 in Mexico, where she headed the Armenian delegation. Hranoush Hakobian has been also elected a rapporteur for the next IPU Assembly.
