ANKARA INITIATES TRILATERAL MEETING OF TURKISH, ARMENIAN AND AZERI FOREIGN MINISTERS
The date of the holding of the trilateral meeting of heads of the Foreign Ministries of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia will be specified in the near future, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ahmed Unal Cevikoz told journalists in Baku yesterday, Turan news agency reported. In his words, as a matter of fact, all the ministers have agreed to take part in the meeting, where issues referring to the three countries will be discussed. Meanwhile, on the same day Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian told journalists in Yerevan that he had received no official invitation to participate the trilateral meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkey. It should be noted that earlier Zaman Turkish newspaper reported such a meeting might be held in the course of the NATO June Summit in Istanbul.
