BAKU ASSURES ISSUE OF ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER OPENING REMOVED FROM AGENDA
The issue of opening the Armenian-Turkish border has been removed from the agenda, Azerbaijani foreign minister Elmar Mamedyarov told journalists. In his words, the issue was discussed as during the recent visit of Azeri President Ilham Aliyev to Ankara as during the negotiations of the Azeri and Turkish FMs, Trend agency reports. The talks resulted in removing the question from the agenda, the minister assures. To remind, Baku expressed concern in references to the frequent reports about official Ankara's considering the possibility of opening the Armenian-Turkish border and reminded the Turkish authorities of their promise not to do that "until Armenians quits the seized Azerbaijani territories".
