REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERS CONSIDER COVERAGE OF ELECTION WAS LIMITED IN ARMENIA
Reporters without Borders international human rights organization has criticized the authorities of Armenia, Georgia and Russia for limiting the coverage of the election held in these countries in 2003. Simultaneously, in its report published yesterday - on the World Press Freedom Day - the organization included the Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in "the list of predators" due to their Administrations being especially aggressively predisposed towards independent press within the past year.
