A bomb exploded on April 24 morning on the highway between the southeastern Turkish provinces of Mardin and Diyarbakır, leaving an unidentified number of soldiers in critical condition.

According to Hürriyet Daily News, the explosives were activated via remote control as a military vehicle was passing.
