State Employment Service Agency of the Armenian Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will organize the first job fair in 2012.

The event will take place in Armenia’s Kotayk province in May, Agency’s consultation and information department head Tsoghik Bezhanyan told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter adding that Kotayk is the largest province with regard to the number of submitted vacancies.

Bezhanyan also mentioned that 6 job fairs will be organized during the year, their venue depending on the labour markets demands; the events will take place both in Yerevan and different provinces.

These job fairs aim to boost job placement opportunities through meetings between employees and job seekers. Job fairs organized within 2011 State Employment program in Yerevan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Ashtarak, Gyumri and Vanadzor helped 508 people find a job.
