ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN PRESIDENTS TO HOLD TALKS IN MOSCOW TODAY
Today Armenian and Russian Presidents will hold talks in Moscow. Vladimir Putin and Robert Kocharian will discuss issues of political and economic cooperation between the two countries. As reported by Russian sources, questions of fight against terror and situation in the South Caucasus are expected to be discussed. It should be reminded that Robert Kocharian left for the Russian capital on a working visit Thursday. On the eve of the meeting the Russian President's Administration said a positive trend is observed in the development of the relations between the two countries. Specifically the commodity turnover between Russia and Armenia increased almost 35% only within the year past. The Kremlin considers there is solid legal framework for further expansion of political and economic cooperation between Russia and Armenia. These are Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Aid and Declaration on Allied Interaction in the 21st century.
