ARMENIAN EXPERTS CONCERNED OVER POSSIBLE CONNECTION OF GEORGIAN AND TURKISH RAILWAYS
Armenian experts are concerned over the statement of Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili about possible connection of the Georgian and Turkish railways. As reported by Liberty, this anxiety is bound with the fact that in case Kars-Akhalkalak railway is constructed Armenia will reach a deadlock. At that the experts say that Turkey will establish connection with Azerbaijan passing over Armenia. To remind, after the meeting with Ahmet Necdet Sezer M. Saakashvili stated that Turkey and Georgia took the decision to connect their railways and now they are searching for donors to realize the project.
