“Hello World” project for school students launched

“Hello World” project initiated by AIESEC (Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales), the world’s largest students’ network launched on May 3 with the purpose to develop career orientation, social skills, conduct communication and intercultural educational workshops in a number of schools in Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor by 17 international volunteers from 11 different countries during one month.

Two-week English language courses will also be organized for the schoolchildren with one hour duration each day. It is anticipated that more than 300 students will participate at different seminars.

The project also includes seminars for international volunteers organized by Armenian students, who will help their foreign friends to better know Armenia, and learn Armenian culture and history.

The project is supported by Orange Foundation, which has allotted AMD 3 million for implementation of the project.
