During the parliamentary voting, Armenian Prosecutor’s Office started proceedings on 84 reports as of 11pm, May 6.

20 reports were received through the hot line operating at the Prosecutor’s Office, while 50 were launched due to monitoring of the mass media by the Prosecutor’s Office staff.

3 criminal cases were launched, two of which by Article 154 of the Armenian Criminal Code (Breaching the confidentiality of ballot).

One case was filed in compliance with article 316, Part 1 (violence or threat of violence, not dangerous for life or health, against a representative of authorities or close relatives, concerned with performance of his official duties, as well as hindrance to the representative of authorities in the execution of duties under law; punished with a fine in the amount of 300 to 500 minimal salaries, or with imprisonment for the term of up to 5 years.).

Clarifications were provided in response to one report; one was submitted to the Central Electoral Commission for consideration, while examination of 79 reports is underway.
