On May 17, the government of Armenia approved an agreement on development of tourism signed with Latvia.

According to Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan, progressing Latvia-Armenia ties in the sector of tourism triggered the necessity of creating a legal field to facilitate cooperation.

The agreement will promote creation of favorable environment for cultural tourism, help stimulate investments and form ties between business entities.
