Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) hailed the Armenian -Russian cooperation in military-technical field.
“Pilot projects on military and economic cooperation are currently underway,” Nikolay Bordyuzha told a press conference in the framework of Moscow-Yerevan-Astana-Kyiv- Chisinau space bridge.
He said that in the cooperation framework, Armenia and Russia agreed on establishment of five-six joint enterprises on repair, utilization and modernization of arms.
CSTO Secretary General stressed the importance of military-economic cooperation, which gives fresh impetus to military-industrial complexes of CSTO member states.
“Within the framework of military-technical cooperation, each CSTO member-country is given preferences during procurement of weapons. The orders based on CSTO agreements increased by 2,5 times for the past two years,” Mr. Bordyuzha said.
