1st look at “Voldemort” actor Ralph Fiennes as Charles Dickens in “Invisible Woman”

How Ralph Fiennes will look like in his portrayal as acclaimed writer Charles Dickens has been unveiled in a very first still for the actor's second directorial effort "The Invisible Woman (2014)". Presented in a close-up shot, the image shows Fiennes sporting Dickens' signature curl hair and beard, AceShowbiz reported.

In addition to Fiennes' first look, another still of the upcoming movie uncovers Felicity Jones' portrayal of Dicken's mistress Nelly Ternan. Jones looks gorgeous in an all-black period gown that is paired with a matching bonnet.

"The Invisible Woman" is based on Claire Tomalin's biography of Nelly Ternan, a woman for whom Dickens separated from his wife Catherine Thomson Hogarth. The period drama is also supported by Kristin Scott Thomas, Tom Hollander and Jonathan Harden. The movie still hasn't got a U.S. release date.

Before directing the Dickens film, Fiennes helmed a big screen adaptation of William Shakespeare's tragedy "Coriolanus". Through his directorial debut, the Voldemort in the "Harry Potter" film series won the Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer prize at the 65th annual British Academy Film Awards.
