Paper: Constitutional Court will continue discussion of ANC petition May 29

According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, today, May 29, the Constitutional Court of Armenia will continue discussion of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc’s petition requesting to announce parliamentary election results invalid.

The Court is supposed to announce its decision by the end of the day.

Today, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) must submit explanations and answer the questions of Constitutional Court members and ANC lawyer Vahe Grigoryan, after which the parties will come up with a final speech.

Thus, it’s not ruled out that the Court will deliver its decision only tomorrow, May 30, the paper says.
