New Names 2nd international festival of young musicians-performers launched on May 29 to last till June 1.

This year, over forty talented young musicians under 18 from different countries worldwide (Armenia, Georgia, France, Russia, Malta, Uzbekistan, Korea) were invited to participate.

The participants will perform jointly with the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra (artistic director and conductor Eduard Topchyan) and the Armenian State Chamber Orchestra (artistic director and principal conductor Vahan Martirosyan).

Most participants are laureates of international and national competitions and festivals, winners of scholarships of different funds, and have performed on the most famous stages of the world.

For the second year in a row, VivaCell-MTS has been the General Sponsor of the Festival.
