Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated MPs on new parliament’s launch of operation and thanked parliamentarians of National Assembly’s previous convocation for their activity.

In his speech President Sargsyan called on the MPs to justify the voters’ trust with their work.

The President hailed the entry of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc into the parliament, adding that the National Assembly’s fifth convocation will represent all the political forces.

In his speech he urged the MPs to address the existing problems, voicing readiness to work on a level with others.

“We ourselves must maintain the established rules and mutual trust,” the President said.

The Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II further blessed the MPs.
