Armenian Cause Office head deems Baku’s renewal of Karabakh war unlikely

Armenian Cause Office director deemed the possibility of resumption of Karabakh war hardly probable, considering Azerbaijan’s unreadiness for it, Armenian Cause Office director said.

“I don’t think Azerbaijan is willing to unleash war due to lack of confidence of its victory. Besides, the so-called oil blessing of the country will turn into damnation in case of war,” Kiro Manoyan said.

He further said that Azerbaijan’s militarization, its leaders’ statements, incidents at the contact line may serve a reason for renewal of the war.

Dwelling on the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ stance, Mr. Manoyan noted bringing the threat of war to the minimum as their goal.

“Azerbaijan will try to transfer the Karabakh conflict settlement to the UN platform,” Armenian Cause Office head said.
