More Azeri snipers observed at border, Armenian village official says

The villagers of Nerkin Karmir Aghbyur in Armenia’s Tavush province have been frightened by recent Azeri sniper attack, the head of village administration said.

As Manvel Kamendatyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the villagers can’t go on with their work, living every minute in fear of an attack. “For 20 years, we feel like the war still goes on, how can people keep calm under the circumstances?” Kamendatyan said.

He further noted the increase of Azeri snipers at the border, which boosts threat to the villagers’ lives.
