Armenian President, Japan's PM discuss Karabakh settlement

Today, June 6, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.

A joint statement was adopted during the meeting, with the final part of it addressing the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, according to RA president’s press service.

“The parties highly assessed OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts on Karabakh resolution, voicing confidence for the conflict’s final settlement to be based on the norms of international law, the United Nations Charter, Helsinki Final Act, the principles of non-use of force, peoples' right to self-determination and territorial integrity” the joint statement reads.
