Turkey is concerned over Azerbaijan’s recent subversive acts at the contact line, and stands against Azeri intention to resume war in Nagorno Karabakh, director of Regional Studies Center (RSC) said.
As Richard Giragosian told a press conference, Azerbaijan’s activities hamper Turkey’s plans in the region, with Ankara, the U.S., Russia and EU deeming the country the sole threat to regional peace and stability.
“Crisis and failure of the concept ‘one nation, two states’ is currently observed in Ankara-Baku ties,” the expert said.
Dwelling on the military cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, he noted that Ankara has ceased being Baku’s key military partner, with Israel, Pakistan and other countries having come to replace it.
