Armenian chess players 0,5 point behind 1st Grand Europe Open leaders

Armenian grandmaster Vladimir Akopian beat Saleh Salem in the 8th round of 1st Grand Europe Chess Open Tournaments in Golden Sands in Bulgaria.

Avetik Grigoryan scored a win over Daniel Naroditsky.

Hrant Melkumyan and Tigran L. Petrosian tied games vs. Solak Dragan and Karen Grigoryan respectively.

With 6 points each, Grigoryan, Melkumyan and Akopian are only 0,5 point behind the tournament leaders. Petrosian and Grigoryan have 5,5 points each.
