DELAY OF TRIAL ON TERRORIST ACT IN ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT IN 1999 DUE TO JUDGE'S ILLNESS
The delay of the trial on the case of the brigands, who committed an act of terrorism in the Armenian parliament in October 1999, is conditioned by the judge's illness. Armenian minister of justice Davit Harutyunian said when addressing the Armenian parliament. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, the minister called incorrect the suggestion of parliament deputy representing the People Party of Armenia Emma Khudabashian that a group of deputies and journalists go to see the judge to make certain of his incapacity. "One must not form a state commission to study the state of health of a person for the sake of interest," - the minister emphasized reminding of the concept of "medical secrecy."
