Armenian President, Bulgarian envoy discuss strengthening of ties

On June 22, a newly-appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Georgi Karastamatov presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

At the meeting, the Armenian leader congratulated the envoy on his appointment, expressing hope for further development of Sofia-Yerevan ties.

The parties further stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in trade, economy, science and technical sectors through intensification of relevant intergovernmental committee’s activities.

In conclusion, the parties noted the importance of Armenia-Bulgaria cooperation in the framework of international organizations.
