On June 25, Central bank of Armenia (CBA) will issuebanknotes with face value of AMD 5000, 10 000 and 20 000 released in 2012.

According to the CBA press service, the paper notes are legal tender, with AMD 5000 released in 2003, 2006 and 2009, AMD 10 000 released in 2003, 2006 and 2008, as well as AMD 20 000 released in 1999, 2007 and 2009 to remain in circulation.
