AT DARTMOUTH CONFERENCE AZERI DELEGATES RECOGNIZED KARABAKH INTERIM STATUS
Representatives of public and political organizations of Azerbaijan, who took part in the conference devoted to issues of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the American town Dartmouth on Sept 23-26, agreed to recognize the interim status of Nagorno Karabakh and fix it in the final document, leader of the Democratic Party of Armenia, former foreign affairs advisor to the Armenian President Aram Sargsian stated during a press conference yesterday. According to him, it means that the Azeri side will sit down at the negotiation table with Karabakh representatives and it is already a big progress, A. Sargsian said. In his words, as the OSCE Minsk Group is following the conference with much attention and it elaborates the further strategy of activities in peaceful settlement of the Karabakh problem on the basis of such meetings. It should be noted that A. Sargsian said he was upset the authorities of Armenia did not show interest in these meetings.
