Meanwhile, after tying a game against Kateryna Lahno (Ukraine), Lilit Mkrtchian scored three points to climb to the 7th position.

With 4.5 points, Ju Wenjun (China) tops the tournament standings, followed by Yifan and Humpy Koneru (India) with 4 points each.

Danielian and Mkrtchian will face off against China’s Ruan Lufei and Mongolia’s Batkhuyag Munguntuul respectively in tournament’s round 7 due on July 24.
