Today, on July 26, Armenia’s Human Rights defender Karen Andreasyan sent a letter to Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan, expressing support to legislative and judicial reform program of 2012-2016.

“RA legislative and judicial reform program of 2012-2016 differs from previous ones with systematic approach, realistic mechanisms and solutions.

The program envisages judicial reform mechanisms that will offer proper solution to the problem of justice. The reforms particularly aim to boost the efficiency of the field, with reform implementation in other legislative fields to enhance the effectiveness of the system.

We express support to the initiatives taken in the direction, voicing hope for social and political forces to follow our suit,” the letter reads.
