On July 27, 11 pm local time, Yerevan’s Lovers Park will host an event to mark the opening of London 2012 Summer Olympics. The event, organized by UK embassy in Armenia, will feature a concert, followed by live streaming of the ceremony.

On July 28, British Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan James Aves will visit one of Yerevan’s maternity hospitals to distribute presents for children born during the opening ceremony.

Several other events are planned in August, the embassy’s press service reported.
