2,3% inflation recorded in Armenia's consumer market in July

2,3% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in July compared to the same period in 2011.

During the reported period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by 1,8%; non-foods’ prices increased by 4,4%, with 2,3% growth in tariffs for services posted.

In July 2012 consumer prices dropped by 1,5% compared to June.

Consumer prices decreased by 2,3-1% in July compared to June in all Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was registered in Talin.

1,5 % drop was recorded in consumer prices in Yerevan.
