Since most of the recent 168 pound news has been focused on the upcoming September 8th Andre Ward/"Bad" Chad Dawson match-up, most stateside fight fans have overlooked the brilliant August 25th pairing of Super Six participant "King" Arthur Abraham (34-3, 27 KOs) and incumbent WBO titleholder Robert Stieglitz (42-2, 23 KOs), fightsaga.com reported.

After being a professional prizefighter for eleven years and silently carrying the WBO Super Middleweight strap since 2009, the Russian born, German based fighter believes he is on the cusp of global recognition.

"Although I'm the World Champion, Abraham has received much more media attention and has a bigger worldwide reputation as a result," observes Robert Stieglitz. "But this is my chance to show the fans that I deserve to be the reigning champion. This is the biggest fight of my career and I intend to make the most of this opportunity."

"This is a very important fight and I'm just happy for the fight fans that such an exciting duel is taking place. Abraham thinks he will be the only one with fans at the O2 Arena in Berlin, but many of my fans from Magdeburg will be at the fight cheering for me because they know I am the World Champion and ultimately the better fighter."

While most fight scribes will be favoring the Super Six participant going into the big event, Stieglitz claims he is ready to show the world that he is one of the more underrated fighters in the entire sport.

"I will beat Arthur Abraham because I am a more complete fighter," explains the WBO 168 pound champion. "I can beat Abraham with my power, better technical skills, and consistent pressure."

Stieglitz will engage Abraham at the world renowned O2 World Arena in Berlin, Germany; where the former Middleweight Champion brutally knocked out Jermain Taylor in 2009.
