Officer of the staff of late Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania - Georgy Khelashvili was found dead in his house. As Chief of the Press Service of the Georgian Ministry for Police and Public Security Guram Donadze told "Novosti" Russian news agency, "the version of suicide is considered for the time being." "In compliance with the preliminary version of the Georgian police, the suicide was committed by means of a gun, which Khelashvili presumably borrowed from his neighbor," Donadze reported. A criminal case is filed.
As the Georgian Police told ITAR-TASS agency, Khelashvili has left a death message, in which he asked his family to forgive him for what he would do. It should be noted that his mother, spouse and 5-year-old child were at home at the moment of the suicide.
