Nobel Prize winners to give lectures in Yerevan

Nobel Prize winners will give lectures in Yerevan from November 2 to 6, 2012.

The lectures will be held for young scientists and students involved in biomedicine, molecular biology and other related fields.

The Nobel Prize winner in Physiology and Medicine Sir Tim Hunt and the Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Martin Chalfie will talk about the causes of cancer.

The aim of the lectures is to raise awareness of young scientists in the field of contemporary biomedicine and molecular biology. In addition, the scientific potential of Armenia will be introduced to the international scientific community.

The event was initiated by the Youth Foundation of Armenia and Young Biologists Association NGO.
