Kick-Ass 2 is rumoured to have added renowned bodybuilder Olga Kurkulina to its cast.

As Digital Spy reported citing ComicBookMovie, that the weightlifter has joined the Jeff Wadlow-helmed sequel as Mother Russia, the hulking bodyguard of Red Mist.

Wadlow previously teased the character with a photograph posted on his Twitter account, showing Red Mist actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse beside an unidentified powerhouse.

Kick-Ass 2 sees Mintz-Plasse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Moretz and Nicolas Cage reprise their original roles.

Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth and Andy Nyman have also joined the cast.

Kick-Ass 2 will be released on June 28, 2013 in the US and on July 19, 2013 in the UK.
