On Sept 16, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan issued a congratulatory note to the country’s Jewish community on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah holiday.

“Dear Jewish community representatives, I cordially congratulate you on Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. I wish you all progress and good luck. I wish you to maintain and develop your spiritual and cultural values that also represent Armenia’s cultural diversity. Let the new year bring new achievements. Let the Jewish community never succumb to such anti-human antihuman phenomena as national and religious discrimination or chauvinism. I wish you all health and success.”
