MANDATE OF OSCE SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE ON KARABAKH NOT ESTABLISHED YET
The mandate of OSCE Chairman-in-Office's special representative for Karabakh, former Bulgarian Prime Minister Philip Dimitrov, appointed to the post already in 2004, is not established yet. The OSCE Headquarters in Vienna attributed it to the incomplete formation of the new budget, Ph. Dimitrov reported. «I am interested in continuing my work,» Ph. Dimitrov said, noting that the same time that if the OSCE Chairman-in-Office from Slovenia nominates a new special representative over the issue, he is ready to help him. It should be reminded that Ph. Dimitrov was appointed special representative for the Nagorno Karabakh issue last September. In the same month he visited the region. The Special Ambassador's mission is to analyze the state of the talks over the Nagorno Karabakh settlement and to draw a report for the OSCE Chairman.
