Cameron Diaz, Colin Firth's “Gambit” comedy trailer released

A very first trailer for Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth's comedy "Gambit" was debuted on U.K.'s ITV on Tuesday, September 18, and its rip has made its way out online, AceShowbiz said.

It sees Firth as a long-suffering employee who often gets intimidated by his eccentric boss, played by Alan Rickman. Firth then plans to seek revenge on his boss by teaming up with cowgirl Diaz.

A remake of 1966 movie of the same name, "Gambit" follows Firth's Harry Dean who plans to steal a statue from one of the world's richest men. His plan, however, is missing one final component: the participation of a beautiful woman to act as his gambit.

Dean then meets PJ Puznowski (Diaz), someone who appears to be the perfect candidate to be his gambit. However, Dean himself becomes enraptured with her, causing his plan to take a series of wrong turns.

Directed by Michael Hoffman, "Gambit" still hasn't got a U.S. release date. In addition to Diaz, Firth and Rickman, the comedy has Tom Courtenay, Stanley Tucci and Cloris Leachman lining up in the casting department.
