Azeri axe-killer Ramil Safarov extradition won’t trigger a new war in Karabakh, according to a political analyst.
“Safarov case can be compared to the 1914 murder in Sarajevo, which, among many other cases led to the World War I, while the actual motif for a war has ripened long ago,” Alexander Iskandaryan told a news conference in Yerevan.
“Safarov case has changed nothing in the balance of forces between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Were Baku ready to start a war, it would have done so without Safarov incident, or found another reason,” the expert said.
