According to the official website of Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to abolish time limits for “Compatrots” state program.

The government of Armenia refused to provide comments on the issue, according to Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

“Thousands of Armenian citizens have moved to live in Russia within the program framework. The decree will make that prospect even more attractive, triggering a new wave of emigration from Armenia,” the daily said.
