World Weightlifting Championship will be held in Astana in 2014, said Talgat Yermigiyayev, head of the Kazakh Agency for Sports and Physical Culture.

“The World Championship will take place in autumn (…), probably in September,” he told a Friday, September 28 press conference in Astana after signing a memorandum of cooperation with the International Weightlifting Federation, Interfax-Kazakhstan reported.
