Prosperous Armenia reps unaware of Tsarukyan’s whereabouts

Prosperous Armenia members were unable to inform journalists of the whereabouts of the party’s leader Gagik Tsarukyan, who was absent from parliamentary discussions on stripping ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian of deputy immunity.

As the party’s spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan noted, Tsarukyan is handling the party leader’s responsibilities efficiently enough.

Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group secretary Naira Zohrabyan, however, wasn’t able to name the country Tsarukyan is currently visiting.

On September 27, Armenia’s Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan addressed the National Assembly with a proposal to deprive ex-minister Vartan Oskanian of his congressional immunity over the money-laundering charges against Civilitas Foundation.
