Armenian consumer prices up 2,5% in Sept

2,5% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in September compared to the same period in 2011.

During the reporting period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by 1,8%; non-foods’ prices rose by 5,7%, with 2,1% growth in tariffs for services posted.

In September 2012 consumer prices grew by 0,8% compared to August.

Consumer prices increased by 0,2-1,0% in September compared to August in all Armenian cities under study, with the highest index registered in Vanadzor, Dilijan and Yeghegnadzor.

0,9 % growth was recorded in consumer prices in Yerevan.
