Ex-envoy: Armenia, Hungary must step up cooperation against Baku

Former Armenian envoy to Lebanon disagreed with Armenian people’s reaction to Azerbaijani criminal Ramil Safarov's extradition.

“Armenians pin the blame of Hungary’s current government on the people. I deem it incorrect,” Arman Navasardyan told a press conference.

“Governments change, while the people don’t,” he said, hailing the centuries-old relations between Armenian and Hungarian nations.

The former envoy further stressed the need for Armenia to improve ties with Hungary and join forces in counteracting Azerbaijan.
