Maroon 5 retain Billboard Hot 100 top spot

Maroon 5 have extended their lead at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with 'One More Night', Digital Spy said.

The track logs a fourth week at number one, fending off competition from Psy's 'Gangnam Style', which remains at number two.

Meanwhile, One Direction land at number three with 'Live While We Young', becoming the highest debuting single from a UK band ever, while Taylor Swift enters at six with 'Red'.

Adele's 'Skyfall' starts at number eight, and Alex Clare rounds out the top ten with 'Too Close'.

Further down the chart, Ne-Yo leaps 25 to 17 with 'Let Me Love You', Kanye West, Jay-Z and Big Sean jump 22 to 19 with 'Clique', and Bruno Mars's 'Locked Out of Heaven' enters at 34.

Ed Sheeran lifts 28 to 45 with 'The A Team', One Republic's 'Feel Again' bounds 67 to 59 and Flo Rida vaults 81 to 69 with 'I Cry'.

Elsewhere, Kid Cudi starts at 74 with 'Just What I Am', and The Script and will.i.am's 'Hall Of Fame' re-enters at 96.
