CIS integration processes open new economic opportunities for Armenia, Russian Transport Minister said.
As Maxim Sokolov noted at the second “Armenia and Russia. Cross-regional dialogue 2012” forum, the two countries will discuss the prospects and the possible format of Armenia’s involvement in CIS integration processes.
Noting that Armenia-ratified Free Trade Area agreement in the framework of CIS will take effect in the days to come, Russian official stressed the importance of formation of a common economic zone with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
“The project envisages setting up a common market with common economic and legal norms, which will ensure freedom of movement for goods, capital and persons,” Russian minister said.
