President of Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan met Saturday, Oct 13, with delegation of the Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) led by organization’s chairman Ara Abrahamyan.

The meeting focused on implementation of different projects in the NKR as well as deepening of the Artsakh-Diaspora ties.

President Sahakyan appreciated the role of the UAR and the World Armenian Congress in the socioeconomic development of Artsakh and noted that correct coverage of the Karabakh conflict is an essential precondition for the further expanding of mutual cooperation.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Prime Minister Ara Harutunyan and other officials also attended the meeting reported the Central Information Department at the Artsakh President’s Office.
